1. Preparation

  • Sanitization: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment and workspaces to prevent contamination.
  • Weighing: Accurately weigh all ingredients using calibrated scales.

2. Phase A Preparation

  • Add Deionized Water to the main vessel.
  • While stirring, sprinkle Carbomer to prevent clumping and allow it to hydrate fully.
  • Incorporate Glycerin, Niacinamide, Allantoin, and Sodium Hyaluronate.
  • Stir until all ingredients are completely dissolved.

3. Phase B Preparation

  • In a separate vessel, combine all oil phase ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, and Dimethicone.
  • Heat to 70-75°C with gentle stirring until homogeneous.

4. Emulsification

  • Heat Phase A to 70-75°C to match Phase B.
  • Slowly add Phase B to Phase A with continuous high-shear mixing to form an emulsion.
  • Maintain temperature and mix for 15-20 minutes.

5. Cooling and Addition of Phase C

  • Begin cooling the emulsion while stirring gently.
  • Once below 40°C, add Disodium EDTA and mix until dissolved.
  • Incorporate Retinol, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, and Tocopheryl Acetate sequentially.
  • Add the Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin preservative blend.
  • If desired, add Fragrance.

6. pH Adjustment and Final Mixing

  • Measure the pH and adjust to 6.0-6.5 using Triethanolamine.
  • Continue stirring until the cream reaches room temperature (25°C).
  • Ensure the final product is homogeneous with a smooth texture.

7. Packaging

  • Transfer the cream into pre-sanitized containers.
  • Seal immediately to prevent contamination.
  • Label appropriately with all required information.

  • Microbial Testing: Verify that the product is free from contamination.
  • Stability Testing: Assess product longevity under various conditions.
