Description

Imagine the problem of making a bond between two substrates or sealing a gap or protecting materials or enhancing fillers by a coating. The coating or bond should be strong enough, but on the other hand, applying the material should happen easily. You could do by different ways; solvent borne, water borne, molten state etc. But you could think also to cross-link the material and to bond the material by curing it with moisture. Silanes which are molecules carrying two different reactive groups on their silicon atom which enables them to react and couple with different materials. Hybrid silane-crosslinking polymers has the advantage over other moisture curing mechanisms that it is health safe and versatile for a lot of materials, connecting these silane coupling agents to the polymers you want to use, and moisture curing is possible with these hybrid-silanes. Silanes can be used in a lot of products but silanes have shown greatest benefits in three areas which are as water scavenger, crosslinker and polymer modifier, and, in particutlar, as adhesion promoter. In this training the emphasis is not to enlighten only one segment (e.g. MS-polymers for sealants) but to see it in broader perspective.

Why you should not miss the training?

This training will give you a must have brief introduction of Hybrid silane-crosslinking polymers, and talk about many exciting possibilities with hybrid silanes to work with and to improve your existing and new formulation developments. Training will also, highlight and make you aware of the failures you may encounter while experimenting with Silanes.

Who should attend this training?

Highly recommended training for R&D chemists, developers, formulators and most important for all those industry professionals who are working with or want to start with silanes.
